This aerial is available in a few different versions, but is basically the same antenna.
This is the better quality version - better build, stronger (shock resistant so marine and vehicle use are possibilities), and with a higher power handling (500w).
This aerial is small, only about 1m tall, with a standard pole or soffit mounting bracket.
I have also seen these aerials fitted onto caravans and even some conventional vehicles, as they are a "no ground" aerial.
What this means is that no connection to physical ground is needed - instead they are tuned by the length of the coaxial cable feeding them from the CB.
To tune correctly for CB, the cable should be in multiples of 9'. You can use any of the lengths below, just choose the next one up from the length you require and loosely "snake" any excess around as best you can.
